This book written by the same authors of the classic Royal Road To Card Magic is essentially a wealth of information that'll have you going back to it often. It's not a book for beginners although it does teach some basics. A beginner may find a book like this a little boring because of all the sleights taught at once. The first chapter for example is all on double lifts, it's variations and even goes into triple and multiple card lifts which can easily overwhelm someone new to card magic with sleights. Tricks are pretty good in this book and there are some nice bits on routining and magic as well. This is definitely a must buy for anyone having read Royal Road To Card Magic and/or Card College volumes 1 and 2. It may date back to 1940, but the material is still solid even by today's standards. This is a must own for anyone serious in card magic.
