Effect

The performer explains to the spectator how much he likes to travel, so they are going to make a mind trip to an unknown location in the world.

The performer says: "you know, in one of my trips I met someone incredible, she lives in the UK and is a psychic. She has the amazing ability to remote view. Would you like to make an experiment?"

The performer opens his wallet, takes out a business card and hands out the card to the spectator saying: "here you have her phone number, I told her that I was going to have show today and asked if she could help me. She is very busy today, but she told me that I could text message her."

"I have some post cards of previous trips with me. Would you please select ANY destination? Do not let me influence you in any way. I want your choice to be as fair as possible, and you can change your mind if you want."

The spectator chooses one of the postcards, let's say "Greece".

The performer, takes out his cell phone and asks the spectator to text the psychic. The spectator text messages the psychic number, asks which destination was chosen. A Few moments later the psychic replies back with the spectators selected destination.

This is an incredible self working system that you can carry always with you.

Effect

Mentalist offers to demonstrate what the difference is between a "magician" and a "mentalist". A packet of playing cards are shown to be all different. Performer demonstrates how a magician would perform a standard "pick-a-card" effect by mixing the cards, and then pantomiming how a card would be selected and then returned to the packet...mixing the cards again, and then revealing what the chosen card would be.

The performer states, "That's how a magician would do it"...Now here's how a mind reader would do the same thing". The packet of cards are placed on the table in full view. The performer tells the spectator "When I snap my fingers, name any number between #1 and 10". Immediately the cards are handed to the spectator, and one-by-one they are counted down to the freely chosen number. The selected card is shown to all, and the performer directs the spectator to look through all of the cards and verify that all of the cards are different; there are no duplicates.

Now, attention is called upon the wallet that has always been in full view. Without hesitation or fumbling, the performer shows that one "prediction card" has been in the wallet from the very beginning... an exact match to the spectator's card found at their freely selected number!

Performer walks to a table or group of spectators, introduces himself and unfurls an attractive scarf he has been holding in the palm of his right hand. The silk is approximately 36" square with an attractive fine art print of an outdoor restaurant. The scene includes buildings, streets, chairs, tables, people dining and a waiter. A spectator is asked to choose the table from the scene, which has a glass resting upon it. After a moment of the spectator searching, the magician asks the spectator to just touch any table for the sake of timeliness. The spectator touches their finger to a table. The magician looks over the scarf to see the location and pinches the selected area of cloth, while saying, "Lets take a closer look". He then pulls the scarf straight up off of his hand to reveal a giant Margarita style glass measuring approximately 8 inches wide by 11 inches tall! The spectators reel back in their seats, while trying to conceive where the glass could have come from. They realize the magician is wearing nothing that could have allowed him to hide an object of that size! The magician immediately places the glass on the table or hands it to a spectator, so all may examine. The spectators see the glass is 100% real! A modern miracle of "SIZE-MIC" PROPORTIONS!

Precognition: Clairvoyance relating to an event or state not yet experienced. In this case to foretell a video event before it occurs.

A spectator chooses one of six disks and places it into a DVD player. They then choose an episode on that disk, then a chapter from that episode. Before they hit the play button you describe a scene in detail. They then play their selection and it matches your description perfectly.

The disks can be checked both before and after, all the episodes and chapters are different.

The effect plays in almost any venue, from a TV set in a living room to a full size auditorium. If the theater has multimedia capabilities the effect plays huge.
